About

Who We Are
Tropical Underground Contracting was founded in November of 2015. The company was established with the primary goal of doing private sewer connections. With all the new sewer systems installed by the FKAA, the opportunity to capitalize was high. As we preformed the connections, our business plan evolved into commercial/resort connections. These bigger and more complex connections involved installing lift stations, manholes, and force mains. Our plan is to grow our business into a full service water, sewer, and drainage installer as well as site developer.

Our background knowledge on the ins and outs of underground pipe work came from decades of working for Florida Sewer & Water and Giannetti Contracting. The president, Michael Stokes, and CFO, Matt Giannetti, are both 3 rd generation sewer contractors of the Giannetti family. Although we haven’t completed many high budget jobs for Tropical Underground Contracting, we have worked on multimillion dollar projects as superintendents and project managers. We have also completed over a million dollars of work as subcontractors for companies like Giannetti Contracting, Reynolds Construction, B&L Benneway, Charley Toppino and Sons, and Mike Haack Excavating to name a few.
